Atomic Books

A sister store to The Ivy Bookshop, Bird in Hand is a coffee shop bookstore located in the heart of Charles Village.

- delicious snacks and coffee
- promotes local Baltimore artists and small businesses

- more a coffee shop than bookstore
- limited seating
Charm City Books

Named Baltimore's Best Independent Bookstore in 2020, 2021, and 2023,
Charm City Books is a family-owned bookstore
located in historic Seton Hill.Pros:
- bright, beautiful interior
- hosts a variety of artsy events including music class and family crafts
- supports Baltimore schools and local children's authors
- limited inventory available in-store
Greedy Reads

With locations in Fells Point and Remington, Greedy Reads has quickly become a Baltimore staple for book lovers of every genre.
Pros:
- prime locations; excellent proximity to other local attractions
- an abundance of bookish stickers, bookmarks, games, etc.

- so many books; the store is stocked floor-to-ceiling with just about every genre
- spacious back garden that is open to the public for picnicking
- back patio hosts many bookish events

- hosts a variety of free, community-based events

- does not carry many 'popular' titles
Snug Books

Cozy, family-owned independent bookshop with an abundant collection of children's and young adult titles.
Pros:
- an adorable children's corner
